About Me
My name is Holly,
I’m a licensed Psychotherapist based in Brighton offering online therapy to adults across the UK. I have over 10 years experience working in mental health - supporting people with anxiety, stress, burnout, low mood, and life transitions.
I originally trained as an Occupational Therapist before completing a Master’s in Psychotherapy, specialising in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). I have also undertaken further training in Mindfulness, Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). These approaches allow me to offer therapy that is evidence-based, flexible, and tailored to each individual rather than following a rigid model.
I spent around 10 years working within the NHS across hospitals and community mental health services, gaining experience in both higher and lower intensity settings. During this time, I worked with a wide range of difficulties, including generalised anxiety disorders, social anxiety, panic attacks, phobias, OCD, depression, body dysmorphia, addiction, mood difficulties, and stress-related conditions. I now work as a self-employed Consultant Psychotherapist, bringing together my clinical experience with a more personalised and holistic way of working.
Alongside my psychotherapy work, I am also a qualified yoga teacher, mindfulness teacher, and meditation guide. I have a strong interest in the mind–body connection and I believe emotional wellbeing is closely linked to how we relate to our bodies, nervous systems, and emotions.
In therapy sessions, I take a person-centred and collaborative approach. I provide enough structure to help our work feel focused and purposeful, with clear goals and measures of progress, while also creating a space where you feel safe to explore whatever feels important to you. I draw on a range of therapeutic tools and we work together to discover what supports you best.
Something I deeply value as a therapist is authenticity and safety. I aim to offer a warm, non-judgemental space where you can speak openly and honestly, without feeling rushed or analysed. I don’t believe therapy should feel overly clinical — at its heart, it’s about a compassionate human relationship that should feel healing and supports meaningful change.
